Products Description
This product is a high-grade metallic abrasive manufactured through the melting, atomization, and cooling process . The raw SUS304 stainless steel is molten and then dispersed by high-pressure gas or liquid, forming fine spherical droplets that solidify into uniformly round shots . It is primarily used for surface treatment processes such as shot peening, blast cleaning, and descaling.

Good Corrosion Resistance: As a stainless steel, SUS430 shot offers good resistance to oxidation and corrosion. This prevents it from contaminating the surfaces of sensitive workpieces like stainless steel, aluminum, or copper alloys during processing.
Clean, Contaminant-Free Finish: Using SUS430 shot on stainless steel workpieces avoids the risk of "iron embedding," which can cause surface rust spots, a common issue when using carbon steel abrasives. It often eliminates the need for a subsequent acid-washing process.
