CAST-SUS430-08
Products Description
The "Cast" designation indicates it is produced by melting SUS430 stainless steel and atomizing the molten stream to form spherical droplets, which solidify into shot. This process yields shots that are:
Dense and Homogeneous: Free from internal voids and defects.
High Durability: Offers a long operational life and low breakdown rate during blasting cycles.
Consistent Shape: Provides a uniform, spherical geometry for even surface coverage and finishing.

characteristics of 0.8 mM CAST-SUS430:
Material Composition: It is made from SUS430 (JIS G 4303).
Manufacturing Process: Produced by melting and high-pressure gas (or water) atomization, resulting in a highly spherical shape with a dense, homogeneous internal structure.
Particle Size: The nominal 0.8mm diameter offers a balance between surface coverage and impact energy.

Advantage of 0.8 mM CAST-SUS430:
1.Long Service Life & Cost Efficiency: The dense cast structure and high hardness lead to very low breakdown rates, ensuring a long useful life, which reduces abrasive consumption and overall operational cost.
2.Consistent Surface Finish: The spherical shape and uniform size produce a smooth, uniform peening pattern or satin finish with low surface roughness (Ra), minimizing part damage or excessive material removal.
3.Inherent Corrosion Resistance: Provides good resistance to moisture and oxidation during storage and use, and leaves a clean, rust-inhibitive surface on processed ferrous components.

Usage
1.Precision Cleaning & Deburring: Removal of light scale, oxides, and burrs from stainless steel castings, and copper or brass components without embedding or causing rust.
2.Automotive Industry: Surface preparation and stress peening of springs, valves, gears, and connecting rods to improve durability.
3.Die Cast & Foundry Work: Decoring and cleaning of intricate aluminum and zinc die-cast parts without damaging thin walls, and cleaning investment castings.
4.Medical Device Manufacturing: Achieving a precise, contaminant-free satin finish on surgical instruments and implantable device components where material purity is paramount.

Applications
1.Surface Cleaning & Descaling: Effective removal of sand, oxide scale, and burnt-in carbon from copper, aluminum, zinc alloy castings, and stainless steel components without causing rust stains.
2.Surface Peening/Strengthening: Induces compressive stress layers to improve the fatigue strength of components like automotive springs, gears, and shafts.
3.Surface Finishing: Produces a uniform, satin/matte finish on metal surfaces for aesthetic purposes.
4.Avoiding Contamination: Its nickel-free composition is critical for processing parts where nickel contamination must be avoided.
